| Biography |
| God damn, these Swedish dudes really kick ass! They are back with even more mature riffs and much more modulated lyrics. Speedfreaks started up ´98 in Gothenburg Sweden (the front side of Sweden). ´01 they released the CD Born a rocker die a rocker (only one member from these sessions remains). They have participated on a couple of splits and a vast numbers of compilations. After the 2004 European tour the original bass player left the ship and the new four string exploiter entered. Now, they found the undefeatable combination of rock´n´roll, punk-rock and metal. Members can also be found in their sidekick bands were they play psychedelic, Black Sabbath, punk, stoner, Ramones and other cool stuff. This has coloured the Speedfreaks sound. Speedfreaks are not to be compared with the infamous Gothenburg sound, this is more like a completely new dimension of the same. So, these cats truly are the hard hitting four! If you want to be absorbed in the hard way to rock and want lyrics with lots of voraciousness about the condition of the world, without any pointers, Speedfreaks must be the thing for you. To make it short: Hell yeah, these rockers has found the right track!!! |
