| Biography |
| Formed back in 1983 the band started with a powerful sound influenced by bands like Back Sabbath, Kiss or Alice Cooper, terror movies, comic books and occultism, soon started to have a great response in Sweden due to their shows (including pyro, blood, satanic symbols, fire and exploding guitars). Lot of people called them as the very first black metal band from Sweden, very much in the same vein as Mercyful Fate and Venom at the time. Unfortunately the band breakup. After some years of inactivity and some lineup changes, the band developed a much more thrash metal influenced sound, write new songs and in 1985 went to studio to record a demo called Make 'em die slowly. But the line-up was not working at 100% and suffer more member replacements. In 1992 the band went again to studio to record which was supposed to be their first album, but was never released. From 1993 to 1998 nothing was going on, but in 1999 To the Death records released Make 'em die slowly on vynil and this made the band back to action again. In 2002 with a new line up the band entered studio to record a new ep Seduction of the innocent released by To the Death records. Once more time with line up variations (including Deranged members), it comes in early 2006 “Brotherhoods of Freaks”, a great assault of thrash metal heavily influenced by the energy and power of the classic thrash metal of bands like Kreator, Slayer, Metallica or Sodom and the groovy/verve of heavy metal & hard rock sounds a la Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, Kiss, Wasp or Judas Priest (what they call shock metal), this will hit the streets by the black hand of Mondongo Canibale records. |
